Look Out, Charlotte!

Charlotte Music Awards

This Saturday February 25, The Saloon at the NC Music Factory in Charlotte, NC will host the annual Charlotte Music Awards Singer/Songwriter Showcase. 15 talented local musicians will take the stage, each perfomring a 3 song mini set, each vying for the title of Singer/Songwriter of the year.

The show starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available online for $8 or $10 at the door. For more info, check out www.charlottemusicawards.org.

Jeff’s set starts at 9:45 pm and he will be performing 3 of his best originals–all acoustic! Family and friends will be there to support and cheer Jeff on as he entertains and wows the audience with his musical talents. Some JGB merchandise will be for sale and they are going to be raffeling off various items from some of the performers.

We’d like to see you all there, so come on!!

Just Catching Up…

Guess I need to get on the ball.  I haven’t updated here in awhile.  First, a studio update.  The painting is done, one pane of glass in the “drummer window” and the carpet!!  The desk has been crafted, stained and protected.  Jeff did a fabulous job!  It’s a very nice piece of functional furniture.  Only one more injury so far…cut his finger laying carpet.

Band will be performing tomorrow (Oct. 29) at LivingSocial’s Trucktoberfest.  Not sure, but I think you had to buy tickets ahead of time for the event.  However, we have a BIG show coming up November 19 in Kearnersville (near Winston-Salem, NC).  Come out to the Bucked Up Super Saloon for a jammin’ good time.  JGB will be the headliners.  The opening band will be announced later.

New item–DOWNLOAD cards.  We have new download cards that are also stickers that look just like the CD cover.  Get yours for only $1.00!!  You can download the entire CD from CD Baby.  Can’t beat the price, can’t beat the music!!

Be looking for some fresh, new stuff coming out after the first of the year.  Jeff has some really cool ideas up his sleeve!!

Keep grooving!!

Nope, not ketchup!

Random Thoughts…

We had a good time at the Gaston Homegrown Festival on Saturday.  It was a little hot, but the breeze felt great and the music was awesome!  Lots of talent out there.  Bob Gilbert was a great asset to the Sales Team–Go DJ Bob!!

The benefit for Bobby Kurtz was a success.  Great to see the community coming out to support a veteran and family man.

Work on the studio will continue after the long holiday weekend.  After 4 gigs in 3 days, Jeff needs some rest.  It will be dinner and home and movie night with the kids tonight.

Keep watching the Upcoming Performances section to see where the Band will be playing next.  A couple of dates have been added, but hopefully there will be a few more soon.

Thanks to all of our fans and supporters!!  We couldn’t do this without you.
